Tanya began her career working for a large tour operator in Australia, which soon led to positions in London and Canada. A native of Australia, she has traveled extensively throughout her homeland and has toured New Zealand several times. She also has an in-depth knowledge of the South Pacific Islands. Tanya now has 10 years experience in the travel industry. Having worked with both FIT and group clients she continues to update her destination knowledge through regular visits to Australia as well as maintaining both her Aussie and Kiwi Specialist status.
With a reputation for achieving excellence in customer service, Tanya especially enjoys researching and customizing itineraries for specialist groups that are looking for a unique trip they’ll remember for years to come!

Africa Specialists
The Africa Department comprises of Anne Ferguson, Donna Blumeris and Darren Lingerfelder. Combined, they have a total of over 15 years of travel experience. Donna is originally from Zimbabwe. Anne & Darren are South Africans who moved to the United States to join the Swain team in October 2006. They previously worked for the largest African inbound/outbound operator.

Donna, Anne & Darren have each traveled extensively through East Africa, Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. They return to the region at least twice a year and have an in-depth knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tanzania, Mauritius, Seychelles and Egypt.

Leisure Groups: So your group wants to visit a local school. Not a problem, we can arrange that! At Swain Tours our Group Specialists understand that each group has its own unique personality and touring desires.
