Dining
Dining at Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden
Triangle is an integral part of the camp's activities.
It promises to be an experience you will remember long
after your adventure is past.

As a small, close-knit community, guests share
their dining experiences in locations that may vary from
day to day. Breakfast is served at Nong Yao, the main
restaurant. Lunch may be a picnic in the jungle.
After late-afternoon activities, catch a sundowner – 30 minutes of
snacks and refreshments while you watch the sky turn
golden.
Dinner is an event at the Camp, too. It
may be a barbecue under the stars, a five-course formal
meal or a dinner by campfire at Elephant Camp. For your
excursions, picnic baskets are prepared from a choice of
items and served in Four Seasons style complete with
folding camp table, stools and linen napkins.
Things to do
Spa
At the spa at Four Seasons Tented Camp,
wonder-working treatments rejuvenate the body and bathe
the spirit in perfect serenity. Amidst the bamboo
forests of the Golden Triangle are two open-air salas
featuring double treatment rooms, spa beds and a
bathtub/shower area. With their rustic design and use of
natural materials, the salas blend in with the
environment. In this environment of simple luxury,
traditional Thai massages and innovative rituals
assisted by the healing power of mountain botanicals and
warming spices guide you on a restorative journey.
Pool
The free-form pool and connected whirlpool
provide guests with a relaxing break between other
activities. Located on a higher level and landscaped
with local granite boulders and teak logs, the pools
overlook the Ruak River. Snacks and beverages are served
poolside from sunrise to sunset.
Mahout
training and elephant trekking
Upon arrival at the Camp, guests will receive
traditional mahout outfits. Training starts with
learning to bathe and feed an elephant. Together with
the elephant's own mahout, guests learn the basic
commands needed to drive an elephant, which they will
have an opportunity to practise on an exploration of the
Thai jungle. Sundowners will be served when the sun
begins to set over the horizon, after which the
elephants will be released into the jungle for night
feeding.
Mekong River Excursions
In a custom-designed riverboat, guests cruise the
Mekong River, passing along villages and temples with an
optional stop at a Laotian border town. Snacks and
refreshments will be served.
Note: Availability of this excursion is subject to
seasonal water level fluctuations.
