Day 1 Fly USA to Bangkok
Day 2 Welcome to Bangkok, Thailand
Upon arrival and after clearing customs and immigration, a driver will meet you and transfer you directly to your downtown hotel.
An exciting brew of traffic and temples, luxury hotels and labyrinth-like streets, the “City of Angels,” is a hectic heaven. This inexhaustible energy is part of Bangkok’s charm, and it has made this feisty capital one of Asia’s favorite tourist destinations. Cutting through the heart of the city, the magnificent Chao Phraya River, “the River of Kings” provides easy access to Bangkok’s numerous Buddhist temples and the Grand Palace, as well offering insight into Thai life.
Day 3 Klong Cruise and Grand Palace
This 3-hour morning tour is a “must see” for all visitors to Bangkok. The Grand Palace complex, which includes the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Keow) is unquestionably one of the wonders of the world today. Within its enormous grounds is the most exotic Buddhist temple and at the heart of the temple itself is a fabulous Buddha image, carved from one piece of Jade, which is the holiest and most revered of religious objects in Thailand today.
Nearby is the Grand Palace, once the official home for the Kings of Siam - built in traditional Thai architecture mixed with European designs. You can also see the Royal Funeral Hall and the Royal Coronation Hall.
Day 4 Fly Bangkok to Phuket
An English speaking representative will meet you in your hotel lobby for your private airport transfer for your flight to Phuket. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your accommodation by private vehicle.
Although Phuket’s name is derived from the Malaysian word “Bukit,” meaning “mountain,” it is the island’s sheltered coves and long stretches of pristine beach that draw most visitors to its shores.
Day 5 Phang Nga Bay and Khai Island
Take a speedboat through mangrove swamps and view the bay’s famed limestone out crops in Phang Nga Bay. Visit James Bond Island, site of the movie, 'The Man With The Golden Gun'. In the afternoon, visit Khai Island; renowned for the beautiful rocks, corals, and isolated beaches, Khai Island is famous for snorkeling.
Day 6 At Leisure, Phuket
The warm waters of the Andaman Sea beckon a plethora of water sports ranging from snorkeling to windsurfing, and yield the best seafood in Thailand. If you can tear yourself away from that perfect spot on the beach, go on a safari and explore Phuket’s lush jungles.
Day 7 Fly Phuket to Koh Samui
An English speaking representative will meet you in your hotel lobby for your private airport transfer for your flight to Koh Samui. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your accommodation by private vehicle.
Known as the “alternative Thai island” to its more famous sibling Phuket, Koh Samui is an idyllic island paradise. Surrounded by palm-fringed beaches and blanketed with coconut plantations, this one-time backpackers’ nirvana is increasingly popular with a broader range of visitors seeking tranquility. Snorkel off Ko Tao island and experience languid island life, or marvel at monkeys shaking off ripe coconuts and collecting them for their trainers.
Day 8 Ang Thong Marine Park
Travel today by big boat to the Ang Thong National Marine Park and Mae Koh Island. Enjoy swimming, walking and snorkeling as well as a visit a volcanic inland lake. Ang Thong National Park is made up of 42 islands featuring lime stone massifs, tropical rainforests and deserted beaches. This fascinating group of islands, within sight of Samui to the north and west, is geographically different from the other islands in the region.
The Ang Thong islands rise from the sea as dramatic walls of rock soaring hundreds of meters high. Besides the many small coves and beautiful beaches, erosion has shaped some interesting formations. Particular features are Mae Koh (a beautiful beach) and Thale Nai (an emerald saltwater lake) both found on Ko Mae Koh.
Day 9 At leisure, Koh Samui
At your leisure to discover the wonders of this island. There are several natural attractions located on or near the main ring road or alternately, it's easy to let the sun and sea lull you into the feeling that you never want to budge from the beach. Koh Samui is an island of great natural beauty and variety. Even if you do not get excited about sightseeing will find that the assortment of attractions will provide their own delights.
Day 10 Fly Phuket to Bangkok
Transfer to the airport by private vehicle for your flight to Bangkok. Overnight at an airport hotel.
