Day 1 – Arrive Dubai

You will be met after you have cleared customs and immigration and driven in your private vehicle to your hotel.

Glitzy, glam, and over-the-top, this city-state is a fascinating mix of old and new, where flashy shopping malls rise up alongside flavorful old-world souks (outdoor markets).

The United Arab Emirates is a country with both a record-setting building boom (the tallest building in the world will be completed in Dubai in 2009) and a still-vibrant Bedouin culture, one that learned to survive in harsh desert conditions for hundreds of years.

Day 2 – Transfer City to Desert

Transfer by private vehicle from the city to the desert, and your resort oasis. The transfer will take approximately 40 minutes. Emerging from the heart of the desert, your resort is an elegant oasis set in a traditional Arabic fort setting.

Day 3 – At leisure, Desert

Experience the heart of Arabia and explore the desert on camel or horseback, or hop into a 4x4 for a little dune bashing.

Day 4 – Transfer Desert to City

Leaving the desert sand dunes and resort oasis behind, transfer by private vehicle back to the city.

Dune Safari Dinner

Take a thrilling journey over rolling dunes deep into the heart of the desert. Stop to see camels resting at their camp, and then, from the crest of a high dune, watch the sun set over the vast expanse of rippling sand. Arrive at your camp where a traditional Arabian welcome awaits. The encampment conjures up images of the Arabian nights. Relax on comfortable low cushions in Bedu tents and enjoy traditional entertainment while feasting on grilled meats, fresh salads and delectable Arab sweets under a galaxy of stars.

Merchant City Tour

Take a fascinating historical journey. Travel to the magnificent Jumeirah mosque and past modern palaces sprawled along the coast. In Bastakia, stop to admire the old wind-tower houses built by wealthy merchants. Close by stands the 150- year old Al Fahidi Fort. Here, the Dubai Museum records the city's past as an important pearl diving and trading center. Board an abra (local water taxi) and cruise across the Creek, watching the modern metropolis with its splendid architecture dwarfing the bustling alleys of your next destination, the gold and spice souks.
